Friendly and helpful staff. Ample parking. Location has easy access to freeway and highways, yet is far enough from the busy areas to be quiet and safe. Decent assortment at breakfast, including waffle makers.

The location was a bit to get to, but the area surrounding it had a lot to offer. I liked how the critics were proven wrong when they talked about how dirty and smelly everything was. My room was clean, no mildew or smells and no bugs!! The cleaning staff was very helpful as was the young lady who checked me in. I needed a ground floor room as I don't do well in elevators, and she had no issue changing my room for me.

10/10! This property is quiet, extremely clean, and an excellent value if looking to stay somewhere close to Galveston. I stayed here on a Sunday night, before leaving on a cruise Monday. The young man that checked us in was so polite and showed me where to print out some travel documents for my trip (complimentary service). There were staff constantly cleaning, inside and out, and they offer a complimentary continental breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were nice and clean! I will definitely plan on staying here again for my next cruise vacation!!
